Pat was very proud to have achieved becoming a licensed vocational nurse, her dream career that she greatly enjoyed and which later allowed her to become a volunteer caregiver after her retirement in 2005. During her nursing career she assisted in the opening of both the Neal and Clements Units in the Texas Panhandle.

She adored her family and her friends, devoted her whole life to caring for others, and she was a doting and loving mother and grandmother. More than anything, she was a devout Christian who loved Jesus.
